From Trident Fly Fishing
Orvis Tippet Rings are crafted from a durable nickel alloy designed to serve as a permanent connection point between your tapered leader and tippet material. By installing one of these rings you eliminate the need to cut back the leader during tippet changes which preserves the taper and significantly extends the lifespan of your rigging. The rings feature a black nickel finish that minimizes light reflection ensuring a stealthy profile that remains unobtrusive to wary fish in clear water conditions.
