What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:"I’ve fished the Ratio on everything from spooky offshore species to heavy freshwater predators, and the drag range is the standout. It stays buttery at low settings to protect light tippet, then ramps into serious stopping power without hesitation. The sealed carbon and stainless drag also holds up incredibly well in wet, gritty conditions."When we head out chasing big, unpredictable fish, we want a reel we can trust when the fight shifts in an instant. The Orvis Ratio Reel steps into that role with a build engineered for strength, sensitivity, and precise drag control.
