From Trident Fly Fishing
The Mirage LT is exactly what we&';ve been waiting for from Orvis. They pared down the Mirage USA reel (which is a great saltwater/big game reel) and made a reel that&';s equally as capable but much more well-suited for freshwater fishing. The Mirage LT is built for Pike Bass Carp and (of course) Trout. These reels are perfect for balancing lighter fly rods but still hold plenty of backing for larger freshwater targets. If you&';re in the market for a quality freshwater reel you&';ll love the Mirage LT. Design Orvis Mirage Reimagined - Orvis made a few changes in the design of the old Mirage when designing the Mirage LT.
