What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:"I fish click-and-pawl reels when I want to stay connected to every run, and this one feels dialed. The tolerances are smooth, the click is consistent, and the palmable control gives you confidence without ever feeling fussy."When the take is clean and the fish turns downstream, we want to feel everything—and that’s exactly where the Battenkill Click Reel shines. We fish it on quiet rivers, technical water, and days when slowing things down makes the experience richer. Built by Orvis as a modern evolution of a proven classic, it keeps the connection between hand, reel, and fish direct and intentional.
