From Backcountry
Kick-turning up a steep, tight skin track, where every step adds a little more heat, is where the Venet Swisswool 60 Vest earns its keep. Swisswool, a wool insulation from Switzerland, regulates moisture and holds warmth at the core of this insulated ski touring vest. Stretch inserts of merino wool and elastane on the back and sides follow every movement, and a tightly woven recycled outer fabric resists wind, water, and abrasion. What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:“I wore this over a single base layer for a whole climb and never needed to shed it, because the wool kept moisture from building up against my torso.
