From Backcountry
An after-work skin lap is where the Ortovox Venet Swisswool 60 Vest earns its place as an insulated vest for ski touring, warm at the trailhead and comfortable once the climb heats up. Swisswool insulation, made from wool fibers from Switzerland, regulates moisture and keeps insulating when damp, so the vest holds warmth without trapping sweat. Merino Airsolation Stretch inserts on the back and sides stretch in four directions and vent heat, which keeps the fit free to move through every kick turn. What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:“I reached the top of a long skin track damp with sweat, and I was still warm while I pulled skins and clipped in.
