The Oboz Sawtooth Ascent Mid B-DRY Wide Hiking Boot raises the cuff over its low-cut sibling to steady the ankle on loose rock and off-camber trail. A Vibram XS-TREK EVO outsole grips uneven ground while the KINERTIA midsole cushions long days on foot, and a waterproof membrane keeps feet dry through wet trail sections. Suede leather and reinforced toe and heel caps carry over the same trail-ready durability, built taller for terrain where a low-cut shoe starts to fall short. What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:"My ankle rolled on a loose, off-camber section that would have twisted in a low-cut shoe, and the taller cuff on this boot caught it before it went anywhere.
