Niner AIR 9 SX Bike Cross-country quickness with a trail bike attitude. The Niner AIR 9 is what happens when a lightweight XC race bike and a rowdy trail rig get together. Built on a hydroformed and welded 6061-T6 aluminum frame, the AIR 9 is fast enough to pin it at the races and tough enough for all-day trail riding. Niner's trail country geometry splits the difference between modern trail and traditional XC - a slack 68deg head tube angle and long wheelbase for confident descending, a steep 74deg seat angle and short 430mm chainstays for efficient climbing, and a roomy cockpit that pairs well with short stems.
