What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying: "I’ve used SolarProof on everything from backpacking tents to old duffels, and the difference is huge. Fabrics bead water again, UV resistance improves noticeably, and gear that felt brittle or tired holds up way longer. It’s simple to spray on, dries fast, and is honestly one of the easiest ways to extend the life of any synthetic shelter or pack."We rely on Nikwax Tent & Gear SolarProof when our tents, packs, and outdoor shelters start showing signs of sun exposure or moisture fatigue. Synthetic fabrics are impressively strong for their weight, but constant UV exposure and wet conditions break them down faster than we realize.
