From OpticsPlanet
Next Level Armament AR15 Upper Action Rod Steel NLX2001. Our team of experts uses an action rod on every upper build for ease of assembly and stability. Since an action rod is an important tool in every builders arsenal we created our own to offer to our customers. Whether you build a new rifle change barrels or handguards or simply change muzzle devices an action rod is a must have tool. Mount the action rod in your vise. Then simply slide it through the upper receiver and into the barrel extension. This provides a stable base when installing barrel nuts and muzzle devices on your upper.
