A single rock strike shouldn’t spell the end for a high-end derailleur—and with the MRP Cage Guard, it doesn’t have to. This simple yet effective upgrade protects the lower pulley cage of SRAM and Shimano drivetrains from costly impacts, giving us more confidence to ride aggressive lines and navigate technical terrain without fear of derailleur carnage. Precision-machined from slick, impact-resistant Delrin, the Cage Guard is designed to glide over obstacles and shrug off strikes while keeping shifting performance crisp. At just 8 grams, we barely notice it—until it saves our ride.
