What Our Gearhead(R) Experts Are Saying:"This hits that sweet spot of warmth, durability, and packability for true alpine use. The Diamond Fuse shell is tougher than it looks, the insulation lofts beautifully, and the synthetic cuffs are a thoughtful touch for wet approaches. It feels purpose-built for mountaineers who push into colder, higher terrain."We reach for this jacket when the forecast turns unforgiving and our route climbs into exposed terrain. Its high-loft down traps warmth without weighing us down, and the Diamond Fuse shell stands up to sharp rock, icy gusts, and constant movement on the wall.
