What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:"I always recommend bringing the footprint for a tent like the Trango 2, especially if you’re camping on rough alpine terrain. It protects the tent floor from abrasion and adds another layer of waterproof protection. I also like that you can pair it with the fly and poles for a lightweight fast-pitch shelter." When we’re setting up camp in rocky alpine terrain or wet mountain environments, protecting our shelter is a priority. The Mountain Hardwear Trango 2 Footprint adds a reliable layer of defense beneath our tent, helping shield the floor from sharp rocks, rough ground, and abrasive surfaces that can wear down materials over time.
