What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:"I love this vest for shoulder-season hikes and cold mornings at camp. The stretch-woven fabric moves naturally, so it never feels stiff, and the 700-fill down adds just enough warmth without overheating. It layers smoothly under a shell and still looks clean enough to wear around town after the trail."Cool trailheads and breezy ridgelines call for the Stretchdown Vest from Mountain Hardwear. We slip it over a base layer for lightweight insulation that keeps our core warm without restricting movement, whether we’re logging miles on a fall hike or gathering firewood at camp.
