What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:"I throw this vest into my pack year-round because it weighs almost nothing but adds noticeable warmth when temps dip. The 800-fill down lofts quickly on breaks, and the recycled ripstop holds up well for its weight. I like that it layers cleanly under a shell without feeling bulky."We count on the Ghost Whisperer Vest when we want warmth without the weight penalty—on brisk trail mornings, alpine approaches, and shoulder-season hikes where conditions shift fast. Its 800-fill down warms our core quickly, giving us the added insulation we need to stay comfortable through early starts or cooling afternoon breezes.
