From Backcountry
The Free Element Hooded Jacket packs ThermoCloud synthetic insulation into a shell that stays lean instead of puffy. The all-over sheet insulation holds consistent warmth without the loft of a bulkier synthetic piece, so it slides under a hardshell without fighting for room. Zoned baffles at the core and underarms add mobility and breathability for active days on the trail or skin track. A recycled nylon shell and recycled polyester lining back the whole build. What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:"I've layered this under a hardshell on cold mornings and never felt like I was fighting the extra bulk at the shoulders or elbows.
