What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying: “I like this fleece for cooler hikes and everyday wear because it balances warmth and durability really well. The midweight fleece is comfortable without feeling bulky, and the reinforced panels help it hold up when I’m carrying a pack or brushing through brush on the trail. It’s also great for layering under a shell when temperatures drop.”When cool air greets us at the trailhead or the evening settles in around camp, we zip into the First Tracks Fleece Full-Zip Jacket from Mountain Hardwear and keep moving comfortably. This dependable midweight fleece provides the warmth we need for chilly hikes, skin tracks, and everyday adventures around town.
