What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying: “I like this pack for alpine missions where weight and durability both matter. The roll-top makes it easy to load bulky gear like a rope or extra layers, and the aluminum frame carries surprisingly well when the pack’s fully loaded. I also appreciate that you can strip it down by removing the frame sheet and hipbelt when you want to go fast and light on summit pushes.”When the route leads above treeline and the pack needs to keep up with technical terrain, we shoulder the Alpine Light Roll Top 45L Backpack from Mountain Hardwear.
