EGW's Mosin Nagant mount allows you to remove the rear leaf sight and install the base without the need to unsolder anything. It is one of the most stable bases on the market and uses the rear sight housing so there are no major modifications to your rifle like with some other brands. Installation: Remove rear leaf sight from the housing Keep the original pin as you will need this to install the base Insert the tabbed side of our steel base in to the rear of the rear sight Check for fitment on the front of the steel base The corners and front may need to be filed down to achieve the optimal fit Once the base sits completely in the rear housin Mfg: Egw
