What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying: "This shoe feels lighter and more agile than a traditional hiker, which makes it great for fast-moving day hikes. The waterproofing really holds up, and the sticky outsole grips confidently. I also love that it uses recycled materials throughout—it’s a sustainable pick that doesn’t skimp on performance." The Merrell Speed Strike 2 WP Hiking Shoe gives us the best of both worlds—trail-running-inspired comfort with the protection of a waterproof hiker. Designed with a breathable waterproof membrane, it keeps feet dry in wet conditions while releasing internal moisture, so long days on the trail feel lighter and more comfortable.
