What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying: "I really like the Speed Strike 2 because it feels more like a trail runner than a bulky hiker. The waterproofing works well, and the traction grips on slick rocks and muddy trails. Plus, it’s cool knowing it’s built with recycled materials from the laces to the footbed." The Merrell Speed Strike 2 WP Hiking Shoe delivers the protection of a waterproof hiker with the agility of a trail shoe. Designed to move fast and light, it features a proprietary waterproof membrane that seals out wet weather while letting moisture escape, keeping our feet dry and comfortable across long days on the trail.
