Merino wool is widely accepted as the best option for high performance base layers. Our Merino Base Layer is lightweight (145gsm) and naturally regulates body temperature in all climates and conditions. Its unique structure is naturally anti-bacterial and will not allow odor to build up. The fit is designed to be worn close to the skin with flat-lock seams for additional comfort. Made in Italy . If cared for properly this base layer will last for years. We recommend hand washing with wool or cashmere detergent for 10 minutes followed by a rinse in warm water. To get rid of excess water roll the garment up in a towel and gently press to absorb.
