Rugged exterior fabric with adaptable weather-protection : The trousers' G-1000 fabric is a blend of recycled polyester and organic cotton. The densely woven fabrics are highly abrasion-resistant and wind-resistant. Though already providing excellent weather-resistance, the fabrics can be made almost completely waterproof with the use of Greenland Wax (sold separately). Hydratic lining on the knees and the seat of the trousers bolsters weather protection as those areas are prone to wetting out. Reinforcements at the leg endings and the inside of the lower legs increase abrasion-resistance and durability.
