Top-of-the-mountain warmth you can count-on : The jacket is heavily padded with lofty but compressible 130g PrimaLoft Black synthetic insulation, a recycled polyester fill that resists compression to ensure an even distribution of warmth. Unlike down fill, it retains its ability to insulate even in wet or damp climates. The insulation is produced through PrimaLoft's P.U.R.E manufacturing technology which greatly produces carbon emissions relative to standard practices. Exterior fabrication adds weather-protection while maintaining lightweight packability : The shell fabric is a lightweight, weather-resistant, and durable Pertex recycled polyester.
