From Backcountry
The Maxxis Minion DHR II is a 29-inch mountain bike tire for rear-wheel traction on trail, enduro, and downhill rides. Its 3C MaxxGrip compound is the tackiest rubber in the Maxxis lineup, and its slow rebound helps the tread hold traction. A DoubleDown casing stacks two lightweight 120 TPI layers over a butyl sidewall insert for durable sidewalls on hard trail days. What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:“The paddle knobs in the center dig in when I brake late, and the rear stays under control. The side knobs hold an edge when I lean into corners. That is the traction I want from a rear tire on aggressive trail and enduro days.”
