Designed with paddle knobs running down the center for decreased rolling resistance and increased braking power on steep trails, the Maxxis Minion DHR II 3C/EXO/TR 27. 5 Plus Tire is an optimal choice for running on the rear of your plus-sized trail bike. Unlike the Minion DHF, which can be run as an aggressive tire on the front or rear, the Minion DHR II is purposely suited for the rear for its powerful braking capabilities when you're descending on steep trails. This particular version features a high-volume casing that allows you to drastically lower its pressure for greater bump compliance and loads of traction on the trail.
