Maxxis Aspen ST 29" Tire Talking about a tire called. . . Aspen! When the singletrack flows like wine, and the riders instinctively flock to it like the salmon of Capistrano, it's time for the Aspen ST. The Maxxis Aspen ST is just about as fast as an XC tire gets, with an ultra low-profile tread design for short track racing. Semi-aggressive side lugs pair with the low center tread design of the Aspen ST, for more confidence in corners. The Aspen ST is available with EXO casing, a protective tire casing that balances sidewall protection and ride quality by adding a rubberized woven fabric in the sidewall.
