Booking it into corners at high speed has a few pay offs — between shaving off seconds, boosted control, and that weightless feeling you get when you're sideways in the middle of a banked berm — however it also carries its inherent risks — most often, sliding out on a loose patch from a not-enough-traction situation, dropping all of the speed you'd hoped to save, and instead ending up somewhere in the bushes just off trail. It doesn't have to be that way, though, with the 29in Maxxis Aggressor Wide Trail Double Down/TR Tire.
