From Backcountry

With the stiffness, stability, and aerodynamics of the Mavic Cosmic SLR 45 Wheelset, our goal of moving from the middle of the pack to leading the peloton is a purchase away from becoming a reality. The incredibly lightweight carbon fiber construction, which features Mavic’s new UD² rim laminate and Fore Carbon spoke attachment, saves up to 85g per wheel, eliminates the need for rim tape, and increases the overall stiffness of the rim, allowing us to ride at our highest potential.
