From Backcountry
The Mavic Comete 50 is a 50mm carbon road wheel built to hold its own across varied terrain, not just on the flat. Its Adaptive Layup construction blends T700, T1000, and 3K carbon fibers to balance stiffness, compliance, and weight in a single rim, keeping the wheel responsive on climbs and tracking precisely at speed without giving up the aero profile that makes it fast on open roads. What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:"The ID360 engagement is what stands out after a hard corner: instant pickup with ceramic bearings means the drivetrain bites before the pedal stroke is finished. Front or rear, this wheel rewards riders who put power down hard."
