What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:"I wore the WarmCube Active Aerothermal Vest on a ski touring day with a lot of vertical and variable effort, and it handled the swings better than anything else in my layering kit. The down cubes keep your core locked in on cold traverses, and the PrimaLoft side panels breathe enough that you're not soaking a base layer on the climbs. At eight ounces, it disappears in a pack, which means there's no reason not to bring it."The hardest part of stop-and-go alpine days is dressing for both. Push too hard in too much insulation, and you're drenched by the first switchback. Underdress and the belay ledge turns miserable fast.
