From Backcountry
A clear morning at the trailhead turns into afternoon drizzle near the summit, and the Scree Pant keeps pace with both. Its DWR finish makes the outer shell water-repellent, the breathable nylon dries quickly between showers, and UPF 50 covers the sunny stretches. From a campsite evening to a steep scree descent, these hiking pants stay in rotation as the seasons change. What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:"These work as my climbing pants on scrambles, where I drag them over granite and sandy ledges, and the abrasion-resistant double weave stands up to the contact. The articulated knees bend with each high step, so the stretch in the fabric never fights the movement."
