Paying homage to the heritage of the Swiss army blanket, this piece was created in collaboration with the British cult designer Nigel Cabourn. The collection takes inspiration from mountaineering garments and fabrics used in the 1960s when the Japanese Direttissima route was first climbed on the Eiger. Each jacket is crafted out of a single Swiss army blanket, made using English wool, in line with tradition. Wool was one of the best insulating fabrics at the time, providing durable and comfortable warmth. Horn buttons on the center front closure create an iconic look.
