From Mammut Sports Group AG

Inspired by vintage mountaineering garments, this shirt was created in collaboration with British cult designer Nigel Cabourn. The collection pays homage to apparel from the 1960s, when the Japanese Direttissima route was first climbed on the Eiger. The cotton fabric and check pattern are based on original flannel shirts worn by the Eiger ascentionists. An embroidered Mammut Garantie logo, the centre front mother-of-pearl button closure and two chest pockets with buttons complete the classic look. The Mammut x Cabourn Direttissima Shirt honors the history of the flannel shirt – one of the oldest heritage mountaineering pieces.
