It isnA;'a (TM)t voodoo when trickle-down technology is applied to cross country ski products. Such as the new Race Speed Skate boot from Madshus. Sharing a name with previous Madshus boots the new version keeps the affordable price but adds performance features from more expensive models. The heel counter is now more firmly anchored to the sole and that creates a solid connection for the vastly improved hinged cuff. The cuff is stiffer and has a more anatomical shape. The last is the same as the previous model which has a reputation for comfort and support for feet of any age or gender. Softshell upper maintains some ventilation yet keeps environmental moisture out.
