From GORUCK

AR670-1 COMPLIANT OUT-OF-THE-BOX "SOPC SPECIALS" Built on our proven rucking chassis we deconstructed them to be as lightweight and immediately comfortable as they can be. They&';re an out-of-the-box "SOPC Special" (SOPC = Special Operations Preparation Course) - based on the modified boots that many Special Forces Assessment and Selection (SFAS) Candidates modified at Da Boot Shop off of Yadkin Road near Fort Bragg prior to heading out to Camp Mackall (including our Cofounder) for Selection. These are as close to sneakers as you can get while still remaining compliant and good to live on your feet for weeks and months on end.
