What Our Gearhead(R) Experts Are Saying:"I wore the Taurus Pro GTX Mid Hiking Boot on a week-long trail trip that mixed paved paths, muddy forest tracks, and some rocky scrambling, and it handled every surface without asking me to think too hard about my footing. The GORE-TEX lining kept my feet dry through two days of persistent rain, and the mid-cut shaft gave my ankles just enough support that I never felt unstable on the loose sections without feeling rigid on the easier stretches."Not every hike is an expedition, but that does not mean the gear should cut corners.
