Les Baer 1911 parts have a reputation for quality and durability that is nearly unmatched within the industry. Machined from bar stock to precise tolerances and heat treated for strength, these parts will provide years of reliable service in your handgun. Notes:Full length guide rods replace the stock spring guide and provide full support of the recoil spring. This allows for even compression of the spring coils as the slide moves to the rear, making the absorption of energy more uniform. Centering the thrust of recoil in this way makes slide cycling consistent and helps with feeding and extraction.Use of a one piece guide rod makes traditional disassembly of the gun impossible.
