From Trident Fly Fishing
Built as a no-nonsense bulletproof workhorse the Lamson Centerfire is designed for anglers who expect their gear to show up and perform day after day-you know the angler who starts the week wrangling striped bass only to then spend an afternoon on the jetty waiting for hardtails and finally wraps the week up pulling on smallmouth bass in a river. Drawing from over 25 years of Lamson reel design the Centerfire combines excellent drag strength with refined engineering anchored by Lamson&&';;s IPX8-rated Cobalt Drag System. A reinforced frame large arbor spool and oversized controls make this reel easy to fish hard and easy to trust regardless of what predator is on the end of your line.
