What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:"I was blown away by how race-ready the CX400 feels straight out of the box—no heat molding, no break-in. The carbon chassis is super stiff for sprint power, and the dual BOA dials make it easy to lock in a precise fit. It’s a throwback name, but the tech is totally modern."We’ve seen a lot of road shoes, but the Lake CX400 Cycling Shoe still manages to stand out—again. Originally released in 2005 as the first mass-produced full carbon race shoe, the CX400 set the standard for lightweight power transfer and anatomical support. Now, twenty years later, the redesigned version carries that legacy forward with even more performance and comfort.
