What Our Gearhead(R) Experts Are Saying:"I took the Nucleo High II GTX Wide Boot on a multi-day loop through the Cascades and was genuinely impressed by how well they managed heat and moisture even on the climbs. The GORE-TEX Surround technology pulls warmth away from underfoot, not just the sides, which makes a real difference over a long day on the trail. My feet stayed dry through creek crossings and two solid days of intermittent rain without ever feeling like I was hiking in a sauna."Wide feet have long been the forgotten demographic in hiking footwear, crammed into standard lasts that pinch through the forefoot and leave you counting miles instead of enjoying them.
