What Our Gearhead(R) Experts Are Saying:"I have been reaching for the TX Guide Approach Shoe on every technical mountain day for two seasons, and it remains the best balance of trail comfort and climbing performance I have found in an approach shoe. The Vibram Mega-Grip and IdroGrip combination handles Sierra granite and alpine scrambles with real confidence, and the TPU Torsion Shank gives enough stability underfoot to feel secure on exposed terrain without killing the flexibility needed for long approaches."The approach is part of the climb, and the La Sportiva TX Guide Approach Shoe was built to handle both without asking you to compromise on either.
