The Knives of Alaska Magnum Ulu is a compact fixed-blade hunting knife built around the traditional ulu configuration, with the handle positioned above a broad, continuously curved cutting edge. This shape gives hunters and game processors a practical tool for skinning, fleshing hides and slicing meat. Measuring 3-3/8 inches across the blade, this model is compact enough to carry with other field equipment while providing the long curved edge that distinguishes an ulu from a conventional hunting knife. The blade is made from D2 high-carbon tool steel and is individually hand ground, sharpened and finished.
