Knives of Alaska Caribou Guthook Fixed Blade Knife Black SureGrip

From Fin Feather Fur Outfitters

The Knives of Alaska Caribou is a purpose-built fixed-blade hunting knife designed for skinning, fleshing and field dressing large game. Its 3.5-inch Gut Hook Cleaver blade combines a broad working edge with an integrated, oversized gut hook, giving hunters one compact tool for opening an animal and handling controlled skinning cuts. The blade is made from D2 tool steel and heat treated to a published hardness of 59-61 HRC. At 0.100 inch thick, the blade is notably thinner than a heavy chopping knife, helping it maneuver through detailed field-processing work without adding unnecessary bulk.
