The spout is designed to stop leakage in fumes and dust and can be removed for thorough cleaning. The white polyethylene terephthalate (PX) exterior offers durability and chemical resistance. The neoprene neck protector absorbs any breakage that occurs during atmospheric exposure and is easily removed for cleaning. The inner cap made of neoprene is designed of a nonleaching polyethylene. The stopcock is an inert gasket that is molded into the top of the bottle. The neck protector is designed of polycarbonate and is interchangeable with the standard autoclavable plastic plug.
