Kimble/Kontes Bottle Br Clr 32 Oz CS12 5113233V 24. Made of borosilicate glass they contain a high percentage of dielectric quartz glass which exhibits extremely high resistance to chemical and thermal shock. The relatively large size of the bottle and the long neck contribute to the general purpose shaped as well as the cost of the material. Care should be taken to avoid etching or to apply too great a force while dispensing. Bottle necks should be twisted to form a slight vacuum as this crimps the neck further. The neck should not be broken or in our opinion the greatest risk of injury is from bursting the bottle. This should not be a problem with any well constructed well.
