"De-lamination," it's called. That's when the upper part of a boot starts to split from the outsole. And, odds are, that's why you throw away about 90% of the shoes and boots you buy. Thankfully, the Keen(R) Targhee IV features KEEN.FUSION construction, which fuses the upper to the outsole without the use of glue or adhesive, so they stick together as a unit better and longer than ever before. In fact, they're actually guaranteed to NEVER de-laminate for the life of the Boot. KEENs are already famously durable, and these take that reputation to a whole new level.
