From KastKing
Weighing in at an ultra-light 4.5 ounces the Kestrel Baitcasting Reel combines feather-light design with rigid performance. The Kestrel Baitcasting Reel redefines angling with a host of premium features. Its TPE handle meticulously designed for comfort ensures a superior grip turning every cast into a pleasure. Equipped with the Finesse Optimized FAF (Flyout Arc Finesse) Braking system: Two half-ring magnetic brakes automatically adjust to slow down the spool when braking is needed to prevent backlashes. As the speed of the spool decreases the magnetic field inside the spool diminishes and the magnets retract to maximize casting distance.
