From Trident Fly Fishing
The Jersey Turnpike Fly is a bold attractor-style pattern built to get noticed in fast water and low light when fish need a clear target. It earns space in your box because it covers a lot of water fast and can turn lookers into eaters when more subtle flies get ignored. Fish it for trout and other opportunistic river fish that key on movement silhouette and contrast. Why We Like ItThis pattern is tied by Umpqua Feather Merchants so you get a consistent fishable build with clean proportions and durable materials. Its darker profile and lively look make it a strong choice when you want a fly that stands out without relying on a perfect hatch match.
