Ultralight water-resistant, bug, and sun protection : The gaiters' softshell fabric is a partially recycled blend of nylon and spandex. This design is surprisingly abrasion-resistant, water-resistant (not waterproof), quick-drying, and super breathable. An Insect Shield treatment helps to alleviate annoyance and ward off disease by scaring off pests. The fabric also provides UPF 50+ sun protection. Adjustable fit for varied footwear : Low-profile elastic cinches keep the top of the hems in place, integrated hooks secure the gaiters underneath the laces of your footwear, and internal adjustments allow you to fine-tune the length of Hypalon instep straps.
